Maati Imaging Bangladesh in collaboration with Pathshala Moktochokh.·         The organizers assume the right of reproduction (free of charge) in the media related to the exhibition and catalogue of any print submitted. 

Dead Lines·         Photographs along with entrance form will accepted from 1^st September, 2007.·         Last day of submission is 20^th September, 2007.·         In case you are delivering by hand then our office will be open from 9AM to 5PM. FeeThere is no entrance or application fee. Please do not send any cash or check with this form. 

Entrants ·         Anybody who can take pictures can enter this competition. ·         The entrant must be a citizen of Bangladesh.·         If the entrant is less than 18 years of age then a guardian must permit entrant’s participation. Please fill out appropriate section for this case. 
 

About Photographs·         Size of photographs must be 10” X 15” or 12” X 16”.·         Photographs can be a landscape or portrait format.·         Photographs can be either black & white or color.·         A single participant can submit at most 8 pictures. Pictures can be individual submissions or part of photo story.·         All photographs must be the original work of the photographer mentioned in this application form.·         None of the photographs can be manipulated in any way.·         Each photograph must be accompanied with detailed description.

 Photograph Description·         All prints must be accompanied with detailed description of subject matter including authentic history, date and estimated time of picture taken and how to reach the site from nearest major city.·         All titles/descriptions/captions must be in either English or Bangla or both.·         Organizers assume the right to translate all information provided here into English or Bangla as they seem fit. 

Entry form and Submission·         You can photocopy and send entry form. But, photocopy must be clearly legible otherwise the jury will not be able to make a decision based on information you submit.·         Photographs along with entry form can either be delivered by post or in person.·         Please complete the entry form and send your entries to us at this address:Maati Imaging BangladeshHouse 80, Road 26Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212·         Please keep a copy of this form with you for future reference.·         All entries must be carefully packed. Rolled prints will not be accepted.·         An utmost care of the arrived photos is taken by the organizers. The organizers will not take any responsibility for lost or damaged entries. 

Judgement and AwardsAll photographs will be judged by a jury panel of photographers, architect, poet, historian, artist and archeologist. They will each judge aspects of photographs relating to their individual field or expertise. Decision of the jury will be final and without appeal. To encourage competition among photographers and bring out quality work, organizers have arranged attractive awards. The jury will select 3 photographers from all over Bangladesh as the first 3 competition winners. After that there will be 5 more selected for honourable mention. Also, the jury will select 5 photographers from each of the 6 divisions of Bangladesh. 

Return of photographs·         Photographs that have received awards will not be returned.·         All other photographs will be returned from the office of Maati Imaging Bangladesh.
